He considers his vulnerability as a weakness and downfall and prevents him from envisioning a happy future. But the town of Cherrywood and the company board have other ideas and Daisy fit the bill.

This arranged marriage, billionaire, workplace romance has a plot that carries through the book. There's that irresistible tension and pull between the two that makes their chemistry sizzle.
