The Ruined

The Ruined by Roxanne Tully had me emotional and crying by the 7th chapter. I absolutely loved this story. I didn't think I would like it as much as the first book in the series with Chase and Pepper, but man! Noah and Charlie??? They sizzled right off the pages! 

Noah and Charlie's chemistry is off the charts. Their banter and bickering is adorable and funny. Charlie is sooo freakin' funny. She's stubborn and willful and I can't get enough of her. Noah is reserved and cautious at the beginning but when he decided to give in, all bets were off. I love how he helped her in so many different ways without her knowledge. He spoke with his actions without even speaking. I just completely fell in love. 

Roxanne has a way of telling a story that just digs deep within you. I feel like coming home every time I start a new book. It just feels so familiar and safe, it's really hard to describe. I just really love her writing style. Some books take some time to get invested but Roxanne... it's always been easy to fall right into her world. 

Truly enjoyed this book. I'm so glad to have discovered her last year. I just know I'll end up with a bookshelf full of her stories that I can enjoy over and over again.
