Give Me A Reason

by A.L. Jackson

Book 1 Redemption Hills

This is my first by this author and to be honest, the book sat on my bookshelf for quite some time. I'm kicking myself for waiting this long to read it.

I found the story to be edgy and raw, with danger lurking in the shadows. An undeniable attraction that puts two total opposites together with a sparking chemistry and a slow burn longing that just builds and builds.

While the story portrays a dark edge with mystery and intrigue, it also portrays a lightness through an incredibly adorable kid that just lit me up and kept the darkness at bay. The innocence in this child and his smart mouth and wit, it just really uplifted the mood.

The family dynamics between the brothers makes me swoon with their loyalty, love and dedication. I'm in love with every brother and can't wait to read their stories.

I figured out the twist a bit earlier from the revelation but it didn't take away the emotion that came when it was proven true.

I truly enjoyed Trent and Eden. It was a hard fought love.
