I could not put this book down. Having read Say You Swear, book 1 of Boys of Avix, I knew I was going to get sucked in to the story quickly. I knew that I would love this book to the depths of my being.

Well, I'm here to tell you that it didn't.

It actually went way beyond my expectations and catapulted as far and as deep that I can not see the end of it. This story has exceeded my hopes and dreams for Mason's story and I can say that this book has quickly risen to my top favorites of 2024 and for all time.

If you're looking for a golden retriever, well, Mason ranks Best in Show in the AKC Championship. He is Top Dog through and through. 

Mason and Payton's story put me through the ringer, it was so emotional and heart wrenching. The issues in this story is so real that this could be someone's story in real life. The struggles and emotional turmoil is gutting to the core. The love between the two is intoxicating. Actually, I take it back... the love between the three is intoxicating. The love that built between them makes the slow burn all the more satisfying in the end.
