I quite enjoyed this book. I love friends to lovers, second chance love stories. I love how they first met and became best friends. I love the Hartson family dynamic and how they took her family in as their own. I love the little things that Tanner did that showed how much he cared without her knowing it.

They both struggled with inner battles riddled with fear of getting hurt. From a loss of a loved one and the pain of being ridiculed in a small town. Par for the course in a young adult life. It's a journey to self worth and acceptance.

The story was easy to read and it held my attention and my interest.
