Pain in the Axe by Daphne Elliot, the second book in the Maine Lumberjack series, is so much fun to read. The small town lumberjack romance has some angst, some banter, some tension, some bitterness, some sweet, some sexy, some steamy and some hella good time.

It's a 20 year later second chance, accidental pregnancy that has me super swooning for Gus and his gruff, sexy and smirky hunky self. I want to just eat him up! He's a man on a mission and he will stop at nothing to get the love of his life.

There's a bit of mystery that has my curiousity piqued and have me guessing. I can't wait to read on and see what happens to the rest of the Hebert family, the town of Lovewell and the secrets it holds. With an unusual moose, Clive, and his antics, this story has it all.
