The Runaway by Roxanne Tully Book 1 Hideaway Springs Series

I discovered Roxanne Tully last year at a book signing and quickly became a fan. The Runaway is book one in her new series and is starting off with a hit. 

Chase and Pepper's story sets up the Reeves' family of father and 4 brothers in a small town of Hideaway Springs, Colorado. The family dynamic is full of brotherly love and quips that make them so loveable. With the additional townsfolk that add some charm and fun to the overall feel of the story. It's what I love about small town romances. I'm already in love with all the characters in this town and can't wait for the other books to come out.

Chase starts off grumpy and broody until Pepper comes back into his life and turns it upside down and inside out. He's been struggling with life and unable to move on until a person from his past comes running back to town with a wedding veil in her bag. 

Pepper is a shattered soul that can't help but keep running away as a result of her childhood tragedy.  A girl trying to reinvent herself to a different persona and away from her childhood town only to find herself running back and searching for safety and reprieve. 

These two collide by happenstance and they come together, begrudgingly, and discover some things that will solder their broken pieces and a love that will last a lifetime.
