A Fated Vow by Amanda Aggie Of Death and Starlight Book 1
I didn't think I could be more in love than Kai and Finn.... but Asmo is in a whole other level. A Fated Vow by Amanda Aggie was a breath of fresh air from my usual sports or dark romance that I've been reading lately.
As with all of Amanda's books, reading a new book by her is like riding a bike for me. I feel like no time has passed from her last book. I'm taken back to the realm of monsters world and I feel like we're old friends that starts right back where we left off like no time has passed. For some reason, Amanda's book always feels that way for me.
Asmo, the prince of hell, is such a beautiful tortured soul that you can't help but fall for him. He's a misunderstood man with love, loyalty, and devotion flowing through his veins. His scars on the outside portray a frightening and intimidating man and hide the broken, searching boy looking for acceptance and love.
Valeria, the elven princess, seems like a weak, meek and feeble woman at first glance, but don't take her appearance fool you. Valeria is one princess you don't want to be reckoned with. She's a force not to be overlooked. She's smart and cunning and determined to escape her father's rule and her arranged bethrothal.
This story is full of adventure, intrigue, romance, humor and spice. The story is a fantasy and a breath of fresh air. Asmo and Valeria will have you believing in a man aching for love and acceptance and a woman desperate to create her own future. With returning characters from previous books like Alice, Kai, Finn and Eva and introducing the next generation that I'm hoping will have stories of their own. This book is one to read.
To say I enjoyed this book is an understatement. It has everything I look for in a great book. I can't wait for book 2 to find out what happens to Asmo and Valeria.
