My Darling Neighbor

My Darling Neighbor by Swati MH came with a nice surprise for me. The story is light, fun, sexy and unpredictable.

I love Sita's quirkiness and oddities. But she's also very strong and independent. All her traits make for a really interesting character and Sita is very much her own character.

Penn is the typical broody book boyfriend that falls head over heels for Sita. Once he gives in to their attraction, he becomes a whole different person and makes him even more loveable.

These two together shouldn't make sense but somehow... it does. The side characters are fun and entertaining. This story also contains some heavy topics... some that are close to my heart as I've had similar experiences that made it relatable to me.

The big surprise reveal in the end took me by surprise. I had no idea what was coming and it definitely had my jaw on the floor and a loud gasp as I realize what just happened.

Swati MH is a master at storytelling. She wields her words and her imagination so flawlessly, the story pierces right through you and then take a hold of you that you hadn't expected. I've quickly become a fan of hers and i look forward to more of her stories.
