Mason by Leila James Book 1 of the Bastards of Bainbridge Hall Boys Series
Leila has done it once again with book 1 of this new series. Mason, Bear, Duke and Lennon's story is addicting to say the least. The tension is there from the beginning, and it just keeps building. Each character is intoxicating and their dynamic together is palpable.
It's intoxicating and addicting. It’s a perfect combination of mystery, angst, and steam that will leave you begging for more.
They are mean, troubled, scarred and possessive.
She’s tough, determined and a force to be reckoned with.
Their intensity is non-stop and their bond will be unrivaled.
I have been left craving for the next book and mystified with how things ended in book 1. So many questions that have me needing the answers right now.
What I love about Leila and her style of writing is that she is masterful at creating individual characters and separate relationships that work in the whole. There's an electricity within each relationship that makes you want each relationship to work between the four of them. It's quite cohesive and though they are different, they have the same intensity in each coupling. I'm caught rooting for all of them for all different ways and reasons. It makes the "why choose" genre so appealing and interesting.
Such a great start to the Bastards of Bainbridge and boy! They are most definitely bastards in their own right. I can't wait to see what happens next!
